MKL BAU finished its project in Sandefjord

While May brought us many MKL sponsored sports events, we aren’t taking a break in our European activity. Just recently, our team finished the installation works in the Norwegian town of Sandefjord.

The scope of our contract included delivery and erection of supporting steel structures and platforms with barriers and ladders for a newly constructed fractional distillation building. Execution of this project was especially challenging because it had to be performed through an open roof of the said building.

The manufacturing site in Sandefjord specializes in making active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) and dietary supplements of highly concentrated Omega-3 fatty acids. What is important, the plant is designed in a way which facilitates the conversion of by-products into value-added materials, resulting in minimal waste.
