MKL BAU expands its activity in Portugal

While our team finishes their work in Freiburg, we would like to give you an update on progress of our project in Setubal, Portugal.

Scope of our work for this project includes delivery and erection of over 2000 tons of main and secondary steel structure with additional 7000 m2 of cladding for the boiler building.

Once constructed, the boiler building will be a part of a new power plant, which powers both the nearby city and Setubal pulp mill. Said mill is able to produce 550 thousand tons of bleached eucalyptus pulp per year.

Construction work began in autumn last year and our crew will be on site until third quarter 2024.
