MKL BAU expands its activity to Hungarian market

MKL BAU has begun the installation works for its first project on the Hungarian market. We will deliver and erect over 280 tons of main and secondary steel structures for the purpose of revitalisation of the existing boiler building.

The aim of the construction work performed on the site is to convert an existing plant from coal-fired to the type using renewable biomass as fuel. First retrofitted boiler is supposed to be finished at the beginning of 2024.

After completing the site works related to the second boiler and final commissioning the plant will generate about 600 GWh of renewable energy, which is almost 1,5% of energy output of the entire Hungarian power production.

This site is registered on wpml.org as a development site.
