MKL BAU helped execute a technologically advanced project in Denmark

MKL BAU executed another project in Denmark, this time located in Esbjerg, a city in the western part of the country. Our task was to produce, deliver and erect steel structure that would act as the support structure for pipes in a newly builty Power-to-X (PtX) plant.

PtX means that the facility will use surplus power and convert it into X – X standing for a variety of different things like power-to-gas or, like in this case, power-to-chemicals.

The Esbjerg plant is designed to convert excess power into hydrogen, which will subsequently find application in fuel cells and industrial processes. Upon completion, the plant is going to generate between 2 and 4 tons of hydrogen per day.
